Selection Process for SSC GD Recruitment
Candidates will first be called for written examination for SSC GD 2024 Recruitment. Candidates who qualify the written examination will have to undergo medical examination.
After completing these two steps, the applicant will be asked to undergo document verification. After this the medical examination of the applicant will be done. After completing all these levels the board prepares a merit list.
Written Exam Syllabus for SSC GD Recruitment
A total written examination of 160 marks is conducted for this recruitment. A total of 80 questions are asked in this setting. There will be 20 questions from each area of Reasoning, General Knowledge, Mathematics, Hindi and English. Each question carries 2 marks. The negative rating for this setting is 1/4. For this option the male candidate will have to complete a 5 km race in 24 minutes. This race is for all except Ladakh region. Apart from this, the male applicant will have to run 1.6 kilometers in 7:00 minutes. This race is only for Ladakh region. PMT Test for SSC GD Recruitment
In this setting the height for General Category, EWS Category, AC Category and OBC Category is 170 cms. For women it is 157 cm. ST handle has extra height. About SSC GD
The full name of SSC GD is ” Staff Selection Commission General Duty ” . It is a major examination conducted by the Government of India to recruit for jobs on general duty in various sectors for the Central Government.
The objective of SSC GD exam is to recruit soldiers in security forces in different parts of the country, posted in Border Security Force ( BSF) , Central Reserve Police Force ( CRPF ), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) , Nirmala Niketan, etc. Can.
This examination is conducted annually and consists of screening of candidates through traditional interview, physical standard test ( PET/PST ), written examination and selection process.
To appear in the exam, candidates have to clear a physical standard test, which may include running, height, and OT tests. Those candidates who have passed the physical standard test have the right to participate in the written examination.
The syllabus of this exam is mainly based on Mathematics, General Knowledge, General Hindi and English Language.
